What we have to understand before we fly to Korea for The Heirs Shooting Location is that the main house of Kim Tan is in Gyeonggi (as I've ID-ed here). The facade we often see and the neighborhood is actually in Seoul.
Get it? :)
To get to the place, I really do suggest that you take the taxi.
I don't want to risk it by giving you the directions for buses so please do ride the cab.
However, if you insist.. here is the direction Daum gave me:
STEP 1:
Find your way to Nokbeon Station (Orange Line) and get off the station through Exit 3.
STEP 2:
Walk towards the direction you're facing when you got out of the station (to your left, when you're facing the street) and you'll find yourself at the bus station. It's in front of NH Bank. From there, ride the Green Bus #7730.
STEP 3:
Get off the 국민은행세검정지점 (Kukmin Bank Segeomjeong Branch) Bus Stop. If I'm not mistaken, it's the 9th station.
STEP 4:
From the bus station, you''ll have to walk quite a distance to get to the next bus station.
Yes, you'll ride the bus again.
When you get off the bus, walk towards your right and turn to the corner to your left.
Your landmark will be the NH Bank too.
And then walk a little further (but don't cross the street!), pass through the stairs to the overpass and just head straight.
You'll pass by two bus stations but the buses you need won't stop there so just walk a little more.
When you finally cross a street, that means you are near your station!
Wait for the green bus (Jongno06/종로06) that will take you to Pyeongchang-dong!
STEP 5:
On the 10th station, you will find yourself just a few steps away from the shooting location of Korean drama The Heirs.
That's it!
If you wish to visit the location, feel free to take the risk. haha
