(S.E.O.U.L. MV) Super Junior's Sungmin & SNSD's Jessica - Seoul Plaza

Seoul Plaza (Taepyeongno, Jung-gu, Seoul) The Seoul Plaza is an elliptical park which is located in front of the Seoul City Hall. It is a usual venue for big events on Korean holidays and is known for its beautiful water fountains and impressive lighting. I haven't seen a lot of Korean dramas filmed here, but sure enough, it's a great attraction for those who go on tours to Korea with family and friends. More pictures under the cut.

Location: Ssamzigil (Insadong, Jongno District, Seoul) Ssamzigil ( 쌈지길 ) is a unique area that displays the creativity of Seoul's architecture. It is called the 'Special Insa-dong within Insa-dong" because of its appeal that exudes a lovely and cozy charm. The striking features of Ssamzigil are its charming and open-air alleys. It has stores which art enthusiasts will surely find lovely; as well as galleries and restaurants. Know more about the place on VisitKorea's official page or Ssamzigil 's official page (in Korean). (S.E.O.U.L. MV) Super Junior's Shindong & SNSD's Sunny - Admiral Yi Sun Sin Statue

Admiral Yi Sun Sin Statue (Sejongno Boulevard, Jongno-Gu, Seoul) Aside from commemorating the heroism of Admiral Yi Sun Shin , the spot where the statue is erected is a major tourist attraction because of the wonderful fountains that shoot water upwards. It is in Sejongno Boulevard. A crash course on Korean history from Wikipedia first: Admiral Yi Sun Shin was a famous naval commander during the Joseon Dynasty. He was best known as the genius commandant, and was acknowledged as so even by his Japanese counterparts - people he actually fought against. One of his greatest legacies was when he led the Korean navy against the Japanese forces on the Battle of Myeongnyang. Under his commands, his fleet became the last one standing after defeating 33 of the 133 warships of the enemy. Despite the absence of formal naval training, he managed to become one of the legendary admirals of Seoul. He was shot by a single bullet during the Battle of Noryang which led to his death; yet,

(S.E.O.U.L. MV) Super Junior & SNSD - Banpo Bridge

Banpo Bridge (between Yongsan-Gu and Seocho-gu, Seoul) The Banpo Bridge is better known as the Rainbow Fountain. It was built on top of the Jamsu Bridge because the latter gets submerged in water during high tide. It connects Yongsan and Seocho Districts. This famous tourist attraction is a beautiful spectacle in the city of Seoul because of the colorful water fountains which gleam astoundingly at night. For many people who go on tours to Korea , the Banpo Bridge is an ideal destination. Actually, even for locals, it is a favorite place for dates and bonding moments with friends especially at night. There is a special area designated for those who wish to see the rainbow fountains up close. It's actually a park so I assure you that the atmosphere will be totally amazing. When going to this beautiful place, the closest stations are the Jamwon Station, Gosuk Terminal Station, Banpo Station (Seocho) and the Seonbingo Station (Yongsan). --- NOTE: This blog

(S.E.O.U.L. MV) Donghae - Jamsu Bridge

Jamsu Bridge (between Yongsan-Gu & Seocho-Gu, Seoul) The Jamsu Bridge is how the lower deck of the Banpo Bridge is called. It connects the districts of Seocho and Yongsan in Seoul. It leads directly to the Banpo Hangang Park. When the water in Han River raises, the Jamsu Bridge gets impassable. The colors in the ceiling corners of the bridge are reflections from the Rainbow Fountains of Banpo Bridge (the upper deck). It is one of the most interesting sights in Seoul, and is a constant attraction for many tourists. The park facing the bridge is especially popular among couples who prefer going on dates at night. Actually, I don't think there are a lot of Korean dramas filmed in Jamsu Bridge. Most of those I watched simply had the colorful fountains of Banpo Bridge in the background. Personally, I think it's quite a waste. Or maybe I am just not watching enough. *winks* --- NOTE: This blog post does not guarantee 100% accuracy.
