[Sensory Couple] Oh Rim & Officer Choi's Comedy Skit Planning Over Coffee

Coffeesmith 82 Wausan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 와우산로 82) In episode 3, when Oh Rim ( Shin Sekyung ) was discussing the comedy antics with Officer Choi Mugak ( Park Yoochun ), they were at a coffee shop. If I'm not mistaken, it's where Oh Rim's friend is working too. Now where is that coffee shop? It's Coffeesmith in Hongdae. It's one of the popular destinations because it's relatively large. I mean, okay, there are larger coffee shops but I'm just pleasantly attracted to its interior which basically features wood. If this place looks a bit familiar to you, then you must have watched It's Okay, That's Love  starring Cho Insung , Gong Hyojin and EXO's D.O . It's one of the best Korean dramas I've ever watched and because of this post, I'm starting to miss it again. I've posted about the location here . HOW TO GET THERE? First, find your way to the  Sangsu Station (Brown Line)  and use  EXIT 1 or 2.

[Ex-Girlfriend's Club] Where Myungsoo and Sujin Took Pictures? It Was Here.

Ihwa-dong Mural Village Ihwa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul (서울 종로구 이화동) One of the sweetest scenes in Ex-Girlfriend's Club   was that of Song Jihyo and Byun Yohan   when they were in a mural village, taking pictures of what were supposed to be filming locations of the movie they were planning to make. To be honest, I couldn't take the sweetness off my reverie. They weren't the best pair in terms of visual appearance but they really managed to pull it off perfectly. Yohan's sweet antics and Jihyo's cool personality really created a good tandem! So getting back to the filming site, they were in Ihwa-dong Mural Village. It is an artistic village which features various murals which exhibit the aesthetic sense and creativity of its residents. Because of its colorful environment, it has become a favorite tourist destination of those who travel to Korea. Also, it has become a famous shooting location for many Korean dramas, variety shows, movies and music video

[Who Are You - School 2015] The Columbarium where 'Eun Bi' Is

Bundang Chumo Park 211-49 Opo-ro, Opo-eup, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do (경기 광주시 오포읍 오포로 211-49) This could be quite creepy but I really wanted to find this filming location of Korean drama Who Are You School 2015 . As seen from the screencap above, this is where Eun Bi's body was kept after it was cremated. It is a columbarium within an actual cemetery, and setting aside the fact that this is supposed to be solemn, I have to say that it's beautiful. What moved me to find this filming site is that I loved the scene shown in my screencap. I loved how Kim Sohyun  perfectly portrayed the role of a longing sister. I loved the kids who did well in their acting parts. I loved Nam Joohyuk who was able to deliver a heart-wrenching portrayal of a best friend who just knew of his friend's death. I know it's kinda weird that I want to travel to Seoul and visit this place someday. But then, I don't think I'll let pass an opportunity to do it. Anyway, chumo me

[Ex-Girlfriend's Club] Hwa Young Got Crazy Because Myeong Soo Wouldn't Take Her Calls So She Went Crazy Here

Hongdae Club Street 70 Wausan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 와우산로 70) One of the funniest scenes in the Korean drama Ex-Girlfriend's Club is that one when Hwayoung ( Lee Yoonji ) was making a ruckus in the middle of an intersection, tapping cars, causing a commotion, because her then-boyfriend, Bang Myungsoo ( Byun Yohan)  wasn't able to send text messages or take her calls. And that intersection is the one in Hongdae Club Street . As the name suggests, Hongdae Club Street is where most clubs in Hongdae are. It is often packed with young people who are looking for fantastic night lives. This street actually leads to the Honggik University so it's quite self-explanatory why most club-goers are students of the said academic institution. Also, it is a favorite filming location of many Korean dramas, movies, and music videos. HOW TO GET THERE? First, find your way to the Sangsu Station (Brown Line) and use EXIT 1 or 2. Both exits will lead you to Wausan-ro

[Who Are You School 2015] Hot Songsaenim with Vengeful TA at Wine Factory Lagoon

photo from sub5053@daum Wine Factory Lagoon 39 Jandari-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 잔다리로 39) It always amuses me whenever they use bars as a filming location for Korean dramas. I see it as an exciting challenge finding them, actually. And it feels so fulfilling whenever I do. Like this one. :) Remember that scene when the TA who is actually Jung Soo In's sister tried to frame Kim Seonsaengnim up? I honestly think it was a brilliant scene on Lee Pilmo' s part. I loved the part when he just grabbed the phone because ugh, he's just so hot. HAHAHA So anyway, it was filmed at Wine Factory Lagoon in Hongdae. It's an elegant although a little small bar which is like in the basement of a building. I especially love the entrance! For photos, you can visit this blog . HOW TO GET THERE? If you're riding the subway, you have to find your way to Hapjeong Station. Use Exit 3 . Afterwards, head straight to northwest (the direction you'

[Who Are You School 2015] COFFEE BAY

Coffee Bay Beotkkeut-ro, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul (서울 금천구 벚꽃로) Anyone who had seen the Who Are You School 2015 can easily tell that one of the most important filming locations of the Korean drama is the coffee shop called Coffee Bay. It is where the students and even the mothers meet. There are many Coffee Bay branches around Seoul but the one the drama used is situated in Geumcheon-gu. It is in the first floor of a building, beside Mamma Mia. Forgive me for the picture above. The map I'm using isn't updated yet so it showed the previous facade of the cafe. For more pictures of the new cafe though, you can click here . HOW TO GET THERE? Find your way to Gasan Digital Complex Station ( 가산 디지털 단지 역). Use the green line instead of the blue one, okay? And exit through Exit 4. Head towards the direction you're facing and the building on your left before the intersection is where Coffee Bay is. FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post

[Who Are You School 2015] Yi-An and Eun-bi Date at N Seoul Tower

N Seoul Tower 105 Namsan Gongwon-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (서울 용산구 남산공원길 105) Okay, so I'm gonna do Who Are You School 2015 from the latest episode. And if you guys had watched episode 12, you would have noticed that Lee Eunbi ( Kim Sohyun ) and Han Yian ( Nam Joohyuk ) went to N Seoul Tower for their date, which I presume will be like a goodbye meeting from them. I don't think I would need to detail things about the tower because it is already an icon and I have posted about it quite a number of times already. So let me just note that the two also went to the love locks for their heart-to-heart conversation. HOW TO GET THERE? The easiest way to get there is through cable car, although a little more expensive. But then for those who do not have fear of heights, I'm pretty sure  you're all going to enjoy it. All you have to do is go to the Namsan Tower Cable Car Station in Junggu, or ride the bus and then walk your way up to the main tower.

[Who Are You School 2015] Where The Almost Goodbye Happened & How to Get There

second photo from wise5822@blogger Central Park Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon (인천 연수구 송도동) One of the scenes that got me hooked in the Korean drama Who Are You School 2015 is that one when Lee Eunbi ( Kim Sohyun ) finally regained her memory and realized that she is Go Eunbyeol, not . I was practically moved by that part when she and Yi An ( Nam Joohyuk ) bade goodbye to each other after school. They separated on a bridge which is a pretty good choice as it definitely symbolizes parting ways. Plus, this filming location is just a couple of blocks away from the school . But aside from the scene, it was the actual location which enthralled me. The bridge is actually one of the iconic attractions in Central Park  in Incheon. It is like a vast complex of buildings traversed by the river. It features facilities for families and friends to bond with. This includes boating as seen in the photo above. Central Park is basically a perfect mix of everything. On one side, ther

EXO Love Me Right Jacket Photoshoot Location

As EXO has finally come back (albeit 9 members), slaying all others with its title track, Love Me Right, I couldn't help but feel extremely elated. They're up to some of the biggest names in the KPOP history but I think they're gonna make it. Love Me Right has this intriguing, addicting and impressive appeal that draws listeners to it. So I'm betting that it's really gonna be at par with all else in the music scene today. Now, as the album came out, photos naturally were scanned and uploaded on the internet. I have found some from FY-EXO . Some of the scans are from BabyLove   and OLIV . And while I'm very much in love with the quality of the shoot, I think I was more interested on the fact that it was shot in Yongma Land . YONGMA LAND 118 Mangu-ro 70-gil, Jungrang-gu, Seoul  (서울 중랑구 망우로70길 118) To those who don't know, Yongma Land is actually an abandoned amusement park in Seoul. 'Abandoned' may sound like a little creepy but altho

[Who Are You School 2015] The School

Incheon Haesong High School 20 Haesong-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon 인천 연수구 해송로 20 After taking a very long break, Manager Hyung is back! And one of the new projects I'm working on is Who Are You School 2015. It is a Korean drama starring Kim Sohyun , my most favorite child actress these days. The male leads are Nam Joohyuk and Yook Sungjae of BTOB. The story revolves around the typical lives of Korean high school students. It tells the joys and favors, as well as the challenges and difficulties of school life in the country. I find it amazing how this Korean drama gives us a glimpse of what's really happening. Yes, this is like a deviation of the common belief that Korean students are always straight A's and all. If you've watched enough documentaries, it's kinda hard not to say the drama hits bull's eye. So let's talk about the location: Incheon Haesong High School. Obviously, it boasts of a beautiful structure conducive en
