I realized that I really need some Korean variety shows in my life and here's my most favorite so far: New Journey to the West. I know I'm so late on this one, but let me just take you back to almost three years ago until we get to the present so we can ID some of the New Journey to the West Filming Locations , which -let's admit- isn't too much (since the show is majorly filmed overseas). 1. English Level Test Venue 42 Dabang (Already Closed)   Address:  42-19 Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul So in 2016, Season 2.5 began with a meeting in Sangam-dong, near CJ E&M Building. Back then, the coffee shop is called 42 Dabang  and this Korean blog will show you how it used to look like. After a year, it was transformed into another kind of restaurant called Seusidai (2nd picture) and I don't think they're selling coffee anymore. I'm yet to figure out if it's still the same after another year. 42Dabang is already closed and is replaced ...

first photo from here 소년상회 25 Wausanro-13gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 와우산로15길 25) So this got my interest. The cafe where Kyuhyun and Zhoumi went for an episode of Super Junior Guesthouse is actually a boy-themed cafe. It's quite small but the interesting part is that it caters the interests of a typical boy. Lots of animated characters' figurines are placed on the tables and cartoon characters are drawn on walls. second photo from kiyoon96@Naver English Village 1779 Beomheung-ri, Tanhyeon-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do ( 경기 파주시 탄현면 법흥리 1779)   So 1theK dropped the music video of K.Will's newest song Day 1  and it starred SISTAR's Soyu and Park Minwoo, who is currently receiving a lot of love because of Roommate . The scenes were cute, I swear. The song's mood was good and it was matched by the two idols' acting. I loved how they looked so cute together, but I guess that's just Minwoo's charm since he looks good with other Roommate members too. Heh. I think most (if not all) scenes in the Korean music video were filmed in this venue. As far as I know, there's a coffee shop inside the camp, as well as a library. WOODAEGA Traditional Korean Restaurant Sejongdaero 18-gil, Bukchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul (서울 중구 북창동 세종대로18길) This is where the after party for The Three Muskeeters happened! In this restaurant, we even saw my favorite SJ pokemon, Kyuhyun. Hehe. ♥ It's always fun to see him drinking. And it's even more fun to see him with an EXO member. ^___^ This restaurant is quite famed for serving meat dishes. I'm not that sure about the price range though. For directions, drop me a message! But still WHY IS IT THAT I CAN'T FIND SO MUCH ABOUT MY BIAS GROUP? .__. Oh well. Dongpirang Village is tagged as the most colorful place in South Korea. Almost every corner of it has artworks drawn by the locals. It's a village perched on a mountain, I guess. But the area's pretty much urbanized already so no problem on getting there. If you guys have watched Innocent Man (Nice Guy), this is where Kang Maru (Song Joongki) found Seo Eungi (Moon Chaewon), without her memories.
