I never really watched the American version but I can't let pass the first-time tandem of Park Hyungsik and Jang Donggun . And anybody who is yet to watch it, binge now! These two, playing the roles of senior and associate lawyers, are as badass as no one else. News didn't lie. The chemistry between these two amazing actors are, in fact,  amazing . At first, I thought it would just get boring because of the technicalities. I'm never a fan of hardcore Korean dramas . But compensation comes everytime Choi Kangseok (Jang Donggun) wins a case and Go Yeonwoo (Park Hyungsik) proves himself to his senior, because there's just too much satisfaction seeing them two trying to overpower one another's sass. But I think the most important factor why I got hooked is it doesn't give away everything. It makes you think. It makes you wonder how they're going to solve the case. Yeogang High School 337-8 Yeogang-ro, Buknae-myeon, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do 경기도 여주시 북내면 여강로 337-8 EXO's Kai has dipped his hand on acting and this is his first major project, I suppose. Paired with model-turned-actress Kim Jinkyung, Kai plays the role of Lee Si Kyung, a high school student who really does bad in school but is nonetheless, a good person. As this Korean drama is a youth-oriented program with students for its main characters, it is just right that most of the scenes were filmed in a school. And in this case, scenes are filmed in Yeogang High School in Gyeonggi. I am yet to watch the full episodes but as Kai is a top star, I think the Korean drama filming locations were concentrated on this area only. Wonhyo Bridge Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul 서울특별시 영등포구 여의도동 (below photo from Wikipedia) Wonhyo Bridge is the 13th bridge to be built across the Han River. It is often a filming location for many Korean dramas and I think it's mainly because of its location. As it connects Yongsan and Yeongdeungpo Districts, it is near a prime commercial and tourist center that is Yeouido. The first meeting of Yoo Eunho (Jung Yunho) and Kyung Soojin (Han Yeri) happened here. Dumped by their partners, they got drunk together. The scene appeared on the first episode of the Korean drama Melo Holic. In my opinion, Melo Holic's purpose is to reinstate Yunho as an actor. The wordplay on the name of the actor and the character was funny, but creative nonetheless. If this production becomes a success, the "Eun Ho" which is very close to "Yun Ho" will be a household name. See the logic? IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

Bukhan River Railroad Bridge 511-2 Yangsu-ri, Yangseo-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do (경기 양평군 양서면 양수리 511-2) Remember that scene where Ji Hong and Hye Jung first went to school together, riding their bikes? And they passed by this gorgeous railroad bridge? Yeah, you're welcome. This is the Bukhan River Railroad Bridge , one of the probably-going-to-become-famous- Korean drama filming location- of-all-times. No, seriously, I think there has been a lot of K-dramas filmed here and I just noticed it now because I'm a loser like that. Haha. The scene showed them riding the bike as a student-teacher, but I guess we're not all dense to not feel that the scene built the chemistry between the two characters portrayed by Park Shinhye and Kim Raewon. And the filming location chosen was perfect. After all, it is really a favorite dating place for couples. Koreans love bike dates and this one provides an excellent option. Gacheon University Gil Hospital  (가천의길병원) 21 774 Beon-gil, Namdongdae-ro, Namdong-gu, Incheon (인천 남동구 남동대로774번길 21) It has been so long! So after my fucking long hiatus, here goes the first post: the hospital where most of the scenes for the medical Korean drama DOCTORS were filmed. Yep! This is where Park Shinhye (Hye Jung) and Kim Raewon (Ji Hong) met again as doctors, this time, and where most of their story unfolded. It is the hospital whose chairman is the adoptive father of Ji Hong. Obviously, it has been so long since I put something on this blog so finding its location was quite a challenge again. It really felt like I went back to step one, so bear with me if I'm not going to be able to give a detailed direction on how to get there.

Ms. Gong Ddeokbokki 13 Nonhyeon-ro 150-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 논현로150길 13) I TOLD YOU GUYS I'M GOING TO START ON HIGH SCHOOL LOVE ON! I honestly never thought I'll end up doing this Korean drama but when I saw a clip on Youtube, I just realized that two of my biases in Infinite are here and it could be a crime to my hidden addiction on Yeol and Namstar if I wouldn't this one, right? So to begin the adventure, I got the ddeokbokki place owned by Woohyun's grandmother. The nice thing was it kept its original name, so there really is a Ms. Gong Ddeokbokki (미스공 떡볶이) in Nonhyeon-dong and it is a few blocks away from the Sinsa Station .
