[Roommate/룸메이트] Home of the Spiciest Jjamppong

Singil-dong Spicy Jjamppong 233-4 Dosin-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul (서울 영등포구 도신로 233-4) I think it's in Episode 8 when the Roommates decided to look for the spiciest food to feed Sora, who never sweat while eating hot dishes. They went around and Gayeon, Nana, Seho and Seojun went to this restaurant in Seoul for the famous spicy jjamppong! Like revealed in the variety show, this one was actually recognized by Star King, and other programs. I think it was rather amazing how they really have the spiciest jjamppong when I cannot even tolerate a regular one. During the filming of the show, the cook challenged the Roommates that if they can finish the large bowl fully, he will give away jjamppongs to customers on the following week. And LOL they did, and so the free jjamppongs happened. :p To see more about the restaurant, you can visit this blog . To get there, one has to take the subway to Singil Station and then go for quite a long walk to the main site. For more d...

[Roommate/룸메이트] The Spicy Curry House

Curry House Myeongryun 2-ga, Jongno-gu, Seoul (서울 종로구 명륜2가) This is the curry house where Seho, Kangjun, Gayeon and Nana went to to find the spiciest curry they could ever get for Sora. It was a mission, I think; and true to Seho's words, the curry house was really in front of the main gate of Sungkyunkwan University so was fairly easy to locate. I'm not really for curries and very spicy food but seeing them eat it, I really want to try. LOL It's easy to find the restaurant, albeit its narrow and unattractive entrance. [Roommate/룸메이트] World Cup Fever at the Gwanghwamun Square

Gwanghwamun Square 1-57 Sejong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul 종로구 세종로 1-57  One of the biggest events in South Korea every year is the World Cup season. As the citizens have intense love for soccer (futsal) and are very competitive, they support the Korean Soccer Team (Red Devils) with all their might - and they will take it even to the streets to show their dedication and undying love. This year, South Korea also participated in the World Cup Season in Brazil and as expected, Koreans were ecstatic. Even the members of Roommate weren't exempted in the hype. Some of them even went to Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul to watch with the people the first game against Russia. Unfortunately though, the score was tied - and in the end of the season, SK didn't make it to the finals. RELATED ARTICLE: The Glamorous House of Roommate Anyway, Gwanghwamun Square is one of the most ideal tourist destinations in Seoul. It's like a must for every foreigner to visit. It is a boulevard located...

[Roommate/룸메이트] Rice Cake Shop From Where Seho Ordered the Rice Cakes From

Rice Cake Shop Seongbuk-ro 21-gil, Seongbuk-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (서울 성북구 성북동 성북로21길) I can't remember if it's in Episode 2 or 3 where Seho was seen buying rice cakes so the roommates can give it to their neighbors. I guess that's the Korean tradition when you're new to a community. And this is the shop where he ordered the rice cakes from! This is near the bakery from where Chanyeol bought the cake for Sungwoo . Hihihi. FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

[Roommate/룸메이트] The SBS Public Hall where Inkigayo Shows Happen

SBS Public Hall 58-1 Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul (강서구 등촌동 58-1) On Episode 7 of Roommate , Sungwoo and Seho visited Chanyeol on the set of Inkigayo to express their support over EXO K's comeback. So basically, this was when nothing is still fucking up for my boys. LOL. Setting my own personal frustrations aside, it was indeed a fun experience and I can tell that Yeol was totally touched by the presence of his two lovely hyungs. It was evident in his smiles how excited he was to be given that kind of attention. And he deserves it ^^ If you remember, this is also the same place for that episode when Nana visited Bom in 2NE1's dressing room. Frankly speaking, it is very necessary to know about this place if you wish to watch your idols on music shows. Especially now that some of the biggest names in the industry are coming back, I think this will come off as a vital information for all of us, fans. Basically, the SBS Public Hall is located in Deungchon-don...

[Roommate/룸메이트] Nana and Seho Visiting Dongwook in Pyeongchang

Troon Estate Country Club 439 Yongsan-ri, Daegwanyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do (강원 평창군 대관령면 용산리 439) In the 5th episode of Korean variety show Roommate, Seho and Nana decided to visit Dongwook in the set of his current drama Hotel King . They kept on mentioning Pyeongchang in Gangwon-do because the main setting for the drama is actually the Intercontinental Alpensia and the Troon Estate Country Club. And yes, the Troon Estate Country Club is where Dongwook met his roommates. If you notice, it is where the houses of their characters reside. I have posted about it earlier here . The second picture I used shows houses under construction since Daum hasn't updated their maps yet for this part of Pyeonchang since 2010.  Frankly speaking, I really thought he left the show already. I mean, in the fourth episode, they even made videos for him. :/ It was very frustrating since I enjoy seeing Dongwook's playful side in the show. And I guess that expla...

[Roommate/룸메이트] The Glamorous House for Roommate

Roommate House 66 Daesagwan-ro, Seongbuk-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul 서울 성북구 성북동 대사관로 66 I am totally amazed with this house. I mean, I would love to have the same one! With Chanyeol and Dongwook in it, please! I'm loving the variety show. Frankly speaking, I am kinda worried about Chanyeol because of the rules but given everything that happened and are happening, I decided it was a good decision. I have concluded that I would rather see Yeol falling in love with one of the housemates than a news like what we had a week ago. LOL Anyway, here's the house, another reason to go on a tour to Seoul . It's definitely not easy to visit considering its location But if you're going there, drop me a comment and I'll see what I can do. *winks* (Although I'll just most likely suggest that you take a cab LOL) FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES!
