I loved the part when he just grabbed the phone because ugh, he's just so hot. HAHAHA So anyway, it was filmed at Wine Factory Lagoon in Hongdae. SBS Prism Tower 82 Sangamsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 상암산로 82) When I posted the YGN Building location for Pinocchio , I was sent quite a few number of inquiries asking where MSC is. Back then, I didn't knew exactly, but in some scenes of the Korean drama, it showed that the entrances to both buildings are just in front of each other so I immediately guessed that they're just beside each other. True enough, they are. Thanks to the establishing scenes which came a little late, to be honest, I found where MSC Building . It is actually the SBS Prism Tower which is just beside the YTN Building . It is also located in Mapo-gu and while I don't assure 100% accuracy, I'm giving you the directions. HOW TO GET THERE? YTN Building 76 Sangamsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 상암산로 76) Yes, the famous YGN News Company where Choi Dal Po ( Lee Jongsuk ) works as a reporter is actually YTN Building in Sangam-dong. It's a relatively new company, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think fans of Pinocchio can freely enter the building. Maybe, a picture from the outside will suffice if you really want to visit the filming locations of this Korean drama? Or maybe you can just look at the pictures at this blog ? 쌍대포소금구이 291 Cheongpa-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (서울 용산구 청파로 291) When Jinhee almost got fired during the first few episodes, she went to drink in this restaurant alone and bragged on her friends over the phone that she's already a doctor. During that time, Chief Gook saw her getting wasted. Then, after a confrontation among the three (with Jinhee in between, of course), Changmin went for a drink in the same restaurant and Chief Gook followed; and they drank together. Because if there is one location from Emergency Couple which I will really have to go, it's this restaurant. Hehe. It is the Ssangdaepo Sogeumgui ( 쌍대포소금구이 ), a famous grilled meat restaurant in the city which had been used by several Korean dramas already. That explains the signatures pasted on the walls. Remember when the new interns decided to drink together to bond with each other? Remember the place where Jinhee dragged JinAe off the stage? Remember the place where Changmin took the jacket which Jinhee gave Chief Gook? Yes, it's in this bar. It's a pretty place which reminds me a lot of Club Rococo in Seoul  where Lee Jonghyun flirted with Kim Haneul for A Gentleman's Dignity. hehe. I have browsed through different blogs about this place and I was reminded how I am so utterly amazed at how different this side of the nation is from what the dramas usually portray. The nightlife in Korea constantly makes me curious enough that though I'm not for this type of activities, I wanna try when I finally get to go to Korea ! Many conservative types would probably raise their eyebrows on it...

Sea and Turtle Pension House (바다와거북이펜션) 608 Jangguk-ri, Gonam-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do 충청남도 태안군 고남녀 장곡리 608 OFFICIAL WEBSITE On the last episode of Emergency Couple, Drs. Oh Changmin and Oh Jinhee were dispatched to a small hospital in Taean. They stayed in this beautiful pension house together for a week and that's basically where most of the scenes were shot. The venue is called the Sea and Turtle Pension House . It is a famous seaside vacation house in the Taean area and is a favorite shooting destination of many Korean dramas . This includes To The Beautiful You starring Choi Minho (Shinee) and Sulli (Fx). Inside its very relaxing building are beautifully designed rooms that highlight colors and cute interior designs. Just like what you probably saw in the last episode of the drama, most walls are painted with different characters, creating a really lovely and romantic vibe. Somehow, the rooms could also make you feel like a child all over again. ^^ ...
