Kim Gwangseok Street Daebong-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu 대구 중구 대봉동 Three days ago, we were spammed by EXO's Oh Sehun with several pictures on his official Instagram account.   Since I was very busy with work and other church stuff, it's only now that I got to ponder on where he was. And when I saw this picture, I instantly asked myself: WHAT WAS HE DOING IN DAEGU? If you have watched Hyde, Jekyll & I , you would notice that this is where this was its Korean drama filming location.  It is called the Kim Gwangseok Street.  It was a narrow street in the province which is dedicated to the late singer, Kim Gwangseok. On the walls are different murals, installations and posters that features the life and accomplishment of the music icon. When I saw this picture, the thought really excited me. And I just have to say thanks to @madamehenry for asking where this place is. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to post anything related to 하지나 anymore. So where is this Korean drama filming location ? It can be found in a narrow street in Daegu called the Kim Gwangseok Street. It's a themed boulevard which practically venerates the late singer Kim Gwangseok. It features colorful murals and installations related to his life and his songs. I must admit that I don't know Kim Gwangseok at all. He died on 1996 and was very popular apparently. I haven't listened to his songs too, but obviously, his influence lives on. Thinking about it, I was more amused of his fans. I believe this themed street was started by people who admire him.
