Shilla Hotel 3039-3beonji, Saekdal-dong, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Island I've been going through my files and I saw that I have a lot of places yet to ID for some other Korean dramas. That's why if you're gonna see a lot of Throwback Thursday-worthy posts like this, forgive me. :) So this one is in Jeju Island. It is one of the most luxurious hotels in Jeju and many VIPs come there for staycations. It is a usual filming site of Korean dramas, like Marry Him If You Dare . Cheongsan Island Buheung-ri, Cheongsan-myeon, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do (전남 완도군 청산면 부흥리) Okayyyy. So this is like a basic filming location of Pinocchio. During the first episodes of the Korean drama, Dal Po ( Lee Jongsuk ) and In Ha ( Park Shinhye ) were students who had to ride the ferry everyday to get to their school. Apparently, that's really the only means of transportation. Cheongsan Island is located off the southern coast of South Jeolla province. So it's between the mainland Korea and Jeju Island, and is reachable only by ferries. It's a beautiful place filled with fields of flowers and stone walls, overlooking the ocean. Although hanok houses are still common in the area, there are hostels and commercial establishments in the area already to accommodate the growing needs of tourists. Teddy Bear Museum 31 Jungmungwangwang-ro110beon-gil, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do One of my dream destinations when I go to Korea is the Teddy Bear Museum in Jeju Island. I think no trip would ever be completed without visiting this place. Up to now, the teddy bears used in the ending of each scenes in the drama are featured here. When this Korean filming locations blog began in 2011, Super Junior was the primary reason. As time went by, my interests evolved and it eventually became a larger map for bigger travel plans which I ought to take when I finally visit South Korea.  Eight years after, Super Junior has returned for their 9th album and there's no other way for Manager Hyung to celebrate it but to return as well.  EPISODE 1 1. SAMDAYEON (삼다연 ) 7-20 Nonhyeondong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 논현동 7-20) As usual for the members of Super Junior, they went to one of Heechul's favorite places in Gangnam, Samdayeon . This Super Junior Returns 3 filming location is a barbecue place which sells pork from Jeju Island and is quite a famous chain in the city. Heechul mentioned in the first episode that whenever he comes to this place, he always go home drunk. Apparently, the restaurant has an exclusive area, probably for artists. That's where SJ members ate their samgyupsal. :) T...

LMFAO Don't get me wrong. I love jungyong to death. I guess it's a part of every Yonghwa stan to troll him in a way or another. second photo from pp009@Naver Ganghwa Camping Park (강화캠핑파크) 14-11 Sinchon-ro 146-beongil, Gilsang-myeong, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon (인천 강화군 길상면 신촌로146번길 14-11) Remember the office of Oh Chang Min's father? It does look like a small hospital, right? Well, it's actually a camping park in Incheon. From what I observed, a lot of Koreans love camping with their families and loved ones. I personally think it's a good idea because it allows everyone to focus on each other, being away from the city. There's this idea of glamping   born in Shilla Hotel in Jeju Island, but I really prefer the traditional kind. RELATED: EMERGENCY COUPLE SHOOTING LOCATIONS   What I love most in the location is the entrance. second photo from here Aqua Planet 282 Hallyu World-ro, Ilsan-seogu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do (경기 고양시 일산서구 한류월드로 282) The consultations between the doctor and Cha Do Hyun ( Ji Sung) in the Korean drama Kill Me Heal Me often happens in secret. At first, they meet up in a garden where they were mistaken for a couple. LOL. I don't know why but in the end, they moved to Aqua Planet in Ilsan . It's a special place for me because as I said, I love the underwater scene despite my slight fear on ocean water. Hehehe. Right now, Aqua Planet has three branches (if I'm not mistaken). Aside from this one in Ilsan, they also have it in Jeju Island and Jeonam. However, I think I love this one in Gyeonggi most. They have this huge aquarium which I think will definitely fascinate me. Plus, the underwater tunnel! There's also this illuminated aquariums filled with jelly fishes. A mini-zoo can also be found inside, which features other animals. Cool? These pictures woul...
