One of the most beautiful Korean drama filming locations had always been Jeju Island. An island off the southern coast of Mainland South Korea, it has been recently recognized as one of the New Natural Wonders of the World. Without question, it actually is. The rolling hills covered with green and yellow during spring, and the awe-inspiring vastness of the sea that surrounds the island will surely captivate anyone.
One of the main attractions in Jeju Island is the Bangdupo Lighthouse. Standing tall and proud in an elevated area just beside the cliff, it provides an outstanding view of the ocean and the rest of the island. For many, it is a special lighthouse which lovers often visit because according to locals, it is a place which grants your wishes.
This idea was then used in the Korean drama Orange Marmalade. It actually played a huge role in the turnouts in the drama as this is where Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Seolhyun kissed.
Talking about the drama....
Orange Marmalade has a really nice story. I love how it incorporates the past and present, and fantasy as well. Although vampire stories are quickly becoming a trend in Korean dramas now, I think this story managed to set itself apart from all others. Although there is quite a strong competition against all others, I'm glad it's standing up well. Or at least it does to me.
Plus, I'm happy to see Lee Jonghyun improving on the acting realm. His acting in this drama is a lot different compared to how he was in A Gentleman's Dignity. I'm glad he's showing more emotions now, or maybe it just had something to do with the role. He's a living vampire! Haha.

This lighthouse had been featured in several other dramas.
One even featuring the leader of CNBlue, Jung Yonghwa.
