When this Korean filming locations blog began in 2011, Super Junior was the primary reason. As time went by, my interests evolved and it eventually became a larger map for bigger travel plans which I ought to take when I finally visit South Korea.
Eight years after, Super Junior has returned for their 9th album and there's no other way for Manager Hyung to celebrate it but to return as well.
EPISODE 1
1. SAMDAYEON (삼다연 )
7-20 Nonhyeondong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 논현동 7-20)
As usual for the members of Super Junior, they went to one of Heechul's favorite places in Gangnam, Samdayeon. This Super Junior Returns 3 filming location is a barbecue place which sells pork from Jeju Island and is quite a famous chain in the city. Heechul mentioned in the first episode that whenever he comes to this place, he always go home drunk.
Apparently, the restaurant has an exclusive area, probably for artists. That's where SJ members ate their samgyupsal. :)

HOW TO GET HERE?
So frankly speaking, the best way to get here is to ride a taxi. The restaurant is close to a huge crossing in Gangnam but is still a few blocks from the nearest subway or bus stations.
Nonetheless, if you're like me who loves walking, maybe you can just use the Sinsa Station (신사역) and use the Exit 1.
Head straight and at the end of the second block, turn right to Dosandaero-8gil. Of course, you can go straight if you want but I'm not really interested in seeing the main highway so whatever you want is fine. :)
Then head straight until you see the Samdayeon Restaurant. It's like seven blocks away from Dosandaero-8gil but whatever, you're a fangirl. You're made for this. :p
For a cheapskate as I am, the prices in Samdayeon are quite not affordable and it's not unlimited like how it usually is in the Philippines. But then, who said Jeju pork is cheap? LOL. Aside from tangerines, black pigs are the pride of the island.
So if you're an ELF and you're traveling to Korea, and you want to eat at a famous samgyupsal restaurant in Seoul, maybe you should try this one.
