EXO Love Me Right Jacket Photoshoot Location

As EXO has finally come back (albeit 9 members), slaying all others with its title track, Love Me Right, I couldn't help but feel extremely elated. They're up to some of the biggest names in the KPOP history but I think they're gonna make it. Love Me Right has this intriguing, addicting and impressive appeal that draws listeners to it. So I'm betting that it's really gonna be at par with all else in the music scene today. Now, as the album came out, photos naturally were scanned and uploaded on the internet. I have found some from FY-EXO . Some of the scans are from BabyLove   and OLIV . And while I'm very much in love with the quality of the shoot, I think I was more interested on the fact that it was shot in Yongma Land . YONGMA LAND 118 Mangu-ro 70-gil, Jungrang-gu, Seoul  (서울 중랑구 망우로70길 118) To those who don't know, Yongma Land is actually an abandoned amusement park in Seoul. 'Abandoned' may sound like a little creepy but altho...

[EXO NEXT DOOR] EXO'S HOUSE

LAMBORGHINI PENSION HOUSE Daebudo Pension Town 4 Chamsaribeonyeong-gil, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi (경기 안산시 단원구 참살이번영길 4) www.ddtown.co.kr It will be very irresponsible of me if I won't justify my long absence. Aside from being so busy with my new work (FINALLY!), I couldn't work on anything without actually finding first this location for EXO 's new web drama EXO NEXT DOOR.  After weeks of rigorous searching, I found out that the beautiful house in which Chanyeol, D.O., Sehun and Baekhyun are living at is actually called the LAMBORGHINI Pension House. It is located in Daebudo Pension Town , a village that features breathtaking houses that people can rent for vacations and as Korean drama filming locations. Now, please bear in mind that the interior shots were actually taken in SMTOWN Studio , the same studio where CALL ME BABY MV was filmed. Only the necessary establishing and exterior scenes were filmed in Ansan. To see how the Lamborghini P...

Cart Filming Locations

OKAYYYY. So I'm gonna take this one seriously. CART is a Korean movie which was based on a true story. Meaning, it really happened. On 2007, cashiers of the supermarket chain E.Land Mart Retail indeed formed a union and staged rallies after being dismissed from their work unjustly. The protest went on for 510 days.  I don't know if the side stories were actually true but the huge possibility is there. Every person struggling has a story to tell, after all. I have to admit that it was because of Do Kyungsoo which made me watch it. I loved his performance in It's Okay, It's Love so I thought that I should give this one a chance. The fact that it premiered on renowned film fests like the Busan International Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival (and soon on the Hawaii International Film Festival) was a major contributing factor to my interest.  Surely, it didn't disappoint. With its true-to-life plot, CART indeed revealed a side...

[It's Okay, That's Love/괜찮아 사랑이야] THE HOUSE WHERE EVERYONE LIVES

32-13 Ave. Dosandae-ro 26-gil, Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 서울 강남구 논현동 도산대로26길 I AM SO CRYING RIGHT NOW. I WAS IN A HIATUS AND I PROMISED MYSELF THAT I WON'T STOP UNTIL I GET TO FIND THIS LOCATION. And I looked everywhere, looking around the most 'likely' neighborhood only to find out that my first instinct was right. I SHOULDN'T HAVE WASTED TIME! I actually thought it was in Sinsadong. But then it's in Nonhyeon-dong so close enough! ARGH! I was looking around Pyeongchang-dong!!!! Anyway, so here is the house where everyone lives. Right. The COFFEESMITH sign is not really there. The one they're working at is in Hongdae . As far as I know, it's actually a fashion house? Although the house might really be a house. Gosh. It's just so beautiful and easy to visit! I should have found this when my friends were still there! okay. So I'm calming down. Let's talk about the Korean drama. Apparently, it's becoming more and ...

[It's Okay, That's Love/괜찮아 사랑이야] The Park Where Kangwoo (D.O.) and Jaeyul (Insung) Met

second photo from somgmi523 @ Naver Eungbong Mountain Park 13-1 Dogseodang-ro 60-gil, Seodong-gu, Seoul 서울 성동구 독서당로60길 13-1 I love the place and it has always been my dream to post something about some random parks in Seoul in this blog, so here's a reality. This is the Eungbong Mountain Park in Seoul, a beautiful and romantic place overlooking the lovely Han River - which is exceptionally alluring at night. If you wish to see more pictures, click this link . Okay. So enough of the place. Let me please, please, please talk about Do Kyungsoo's acting. I don't know what I should say to convince you guys that my words will not be biased and I will base it on what I know as a person who has background in dramas and films like this; so I just won't tell you to believe me. I just want you guys to think about what I'm going to say. Do Kyungsoo is something when it comes to acting. At first, you won't be convinced, thinking that he's just a noob, a t...

[It's Okay, That's Love/괜찮아, 사랑이야] The Club Where Ji Hae Soo Was Kicked... IN THE FACE.

Club Syndrome 205 Dosandae-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 도산대로 205) I told you, It's Okay, That's Love has its spots reserved in my blog and I'm starting now! If you watched the first episode already, you'll understand why it immediately got 9.3% ratings on viewership! The plot line introduced is interesting. The main characters were all shown on the first episode. The soundtracks are nice, matching well with the cinematography (because I still can't get over the cliff episode!). Indeed, it was a drama to watch for! So okay. In the first episode, there was a scene when Ji Hae Soo (Gong Hyojin) was kicked in the face and she stumbled on the plight of stairs. Quite funny, if you think, but it was inevitable to the story and it led to the climax of the episode. LOL. But where exactly was the place? It's the Club Syndrome in Gangnam. To all those who think it's familiar, I have already ID-ed this place as it is a filming site for the Korean drama...
