It is not a secret that the number of people who travel to Korea lessened due to the MERS-CoV virus incidents. It had even affected the economy, in general, of the country, which became quite a huge blow to the nation.
But as much as we all fear the virus that claimed thousands of live from all over the world, I think it doesn't erase the fact that South Korea is a beautiful country.
For this reason, I acclaim the Korean Tourism Organization for still coming up with attractive and convincing advertisements promoting the different tourist destinations in South Korea. It was also a wise move to use one of the most influential Hallyu stars today, Lee Min Ho.
I believe there's a KTO contest going on right now. If I'm not mistaken, they're asking people to name at least two places Min Ho visited. Well, this might serve as a cheat sheet, but anyway, enjoy!
One of the top shopping spots in Seoul, the Dongdaemun Design Plaza is one of the most modern attractions in South Korea. Designed in an avant-garde approach, this surely is included in the top ten places to visit when you go to Seoul.
Dongdaemun Design Plaza is a popular Korean drama shooting location. Among the many which filmed here is You Who Came from the Stars.
The KTO contest with Lee Minho requires only two but I've given you five. So good luck!

Gamcheon Cultural Village
200 Gamnae 1-ro, Saha-gu, Busan
(부산 사하구 감내1로 200)
The Gamcheon Cultural Village is one of the most popular date locations in Korea. A tourist attraction in Busan, it features houses which are painted with colorful murals representing the artistic and cultural side of the residents. It is where you can find the statue of The Little Prince and the fox looking over the villages below, as well as the different art installments featured in many Korean music videos and variety shows.

Go Woon Dang
(Seochon Hanok Village)
Tongui-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul
(서울 종로구 통의동)
The Seochon Hanok Village is actually a new discovery to me. Located on the right side of Gwanghwamun, I call it Bukchon Hanok Village's western counterpart. It also features different traditional Korean houses that are converted into hanok guesthouses.
Go Woon Dang is one of the famous hanok guesthouses in the area. In this, one gets to lay eyes on the amazing architectural style of these structures. The guesthouse features a small courtyard, traditional rooms with ondol floor, sliding doors, and many more.
Dae Oh Bookstore
55 Jahamun-ro 7-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
(서울 종로구 자하문로7길 55)
Just nearby Go Woon Dang is the bookstore where Lee Min Ho was. It is the Dae Oh Bookstore.
I honestly think this is one of the most charming places in the area. The vintage feel just drives people to nostalgia and even just in pictures, it really does look like it's gonna take you to several years ago to appreciate it better.
Busan Cinema Center
120 Suyeong gangbyeondae-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan
(부산 해운대구 수영강변대로 120)
One of the most in-demand places in Busan is its cinema center. Home to the world-acclaimed Busan International Film Festival, the Busan Cinema Center is actually a cinema house on ordinary days. It's like a mall, but more focused on showing films.
The Busan Cinema Center is worth visiting especially if you love modern architecture. The mixes of approaches displayed by this structure is truly remarkable that it'll make you want to take a picture of every corner. Personally, I want to visit the place to see the light-shifting ceiling and the outdoor event hall.
