[Kill Me, Heal Me] The Rooftop with the Graffiti of the Suicidal Ahn Yoseob

Hansin Building
12 Mapo-daero, Mapo-gu, Seoul
(서울 마포구 마포대로 12)

I'M SCREAMING OMGGGGGGGGG
IT'S WHERE THE GRAFFITI DRAWN BY THE SUICIDAL PERSONALITY, AHN YOSEOB, CAN BE FOUNDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!
Since I watched the episode, I've been constantly asking myself:
Where's that Kill Me Heal Me rooftop?

And that's why I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this blog saying it's in Mapo but there's no address so I had to go through the streets through maps to find the actual location.
The only clue I've got were the pictures I got through screen caps and the pictures in the blog.
But thank God for aerial views!!!!!!!!

So basically, the rooftop scenes were a hit.
Believe me, it was what convinced me that Kill Me, Heal Me is the next big thing in Korean dramas. It is in this scenes that I was convinced that Hwang Jungeum and Ji Sung are definitely A-listers when it comes to acting and their skills really got me on my knees.

Now, what is the place? It's the HANSIN BUILDING.
It's near the Mapo Bridge and is quite a skyscraper, if you ask me.
All the clues point out to this one place: the laundry shop, the view of the bridge, even the writing on the building nearby.
And if I'm not mistaken, the scenes were shot on the extended rooftop.
I mean, there's a rooftop, but there's another smaller floor attached to it so it has its rooftop too,
so basically you get my point? LOL
To those who don't, here's the picture:

Prior to this, I've been reading some comments about this Korean drama filming location
They say the graffiti's still there and they're hoping it'll be turned into a tourist attraction considering that Kill Me Heal Me's doing good in the rating charts.
Of course, I don't have any means to prove that it's still there unless the maps will be updated with a recent and clearer version.
But honestly, I'm hoping they really preserve the drawings and the Kill Me, Heal Me words.
I mean, it's a good reminder for everyone that suicide is never the answer to problems.

Also, please don't ask me if the public's permitted to go up there.
I DON'T KNOW.
But one thing's certain, I'll try to visit the place when I finally travel to Seoul.

HOW TO GET TO HANSIN BUILDING?

1. Find your way to Mapo Station (Purple Line) and get off via Exit 4. Head towards the direction you're facing (that's going South, headed to Mapo bridge)

2. Be mindful of the BBS Building, a radio station's headquarters. It's in the corner of a block and you've got to turn left after it. There's a police station at the end of the street.

3. When you reach the police station, turn right.

4. Hansin Building is the building in the far end corner.
The laundry shop is in front of it. :)

Once again, I don't assure 100% accuracy but I'm pretty confident with this.
It's a personal pick among all filming locations I've ID-ed.
Hopefully, I'm right on this one.
And hopefully, we really can go up that rooftop. ^^

Hi Hina,

I don't know if you can. But apparently, there are some Korean fans who were able to go up there.

Granting they did, I'm not so sure if they would allow foreigners though :(

What is Wrong with Secretary Kim Filming Locations [IMAGE HEAVY!]

I know I have promised to ID Korean drama filming locations of another Korean drama but I just can't help it with this one. Entitled What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, it is a story of Lee Yongjun ( Park Seojun ), the egoistical and very self-centered vice chairman of the Yunmyung Group, and his secretary, Kim Miso ( Park Minyoung ). So the vice chairman had been very, very dependent on his secretary so when she decided to resign, it took him by surprise and all hell breaks loose. LOL The drama casted KPOP idols Kim Yewon (Jewelry) and Hwang Chansung (2PM) too and I think they're doing good in their current field. <3 I can't help but laugh everytime I see Chansung on my screen. Watch the drama to know why. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. The whole story was apparently based on a manga and it's a must to watch this one. It has a light story, and will definitely make you wonder at some points. So it got me hooked easily. And when I get hooked, the locations should b...

[Doctor Stranger/닥터 이방인] The Real Myeongwoo Hospital

second photo from kiis3300@Naver International St. Mary's Hospital ( 국제성모병원) Simgoklo 100-gil, 25 Seo-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City 인천 서구 심곡로100번길 25 Three episodes and I'm getting hooked. Putting Lee Jongsuk, Park Haejin and Kang Sora in one drama seems like a fatal thing to me. I love all of them!!! So yeah, I'll be ID-ing Doctor Stranger seriously now. And we'll start with this hospital. As said, it's the International St. Mary's Hospital in Incheon. In the drama, it's named as the Myeongwoo Hospital where Haejin and Sora works. It's quite a big facility considering that it has a housing facility for the residents (Maris Stella) and a mall with an indoor golf course (Wellbeing Mall) within its complex. Amazing, right? I knew all those because of their website. LOL. Visit it here . There's an English feature. FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

EXO at New SM Entertainment Building

first photo from only5_yoonjae @ weibo New SM Entertainment Seollung-ro 190-gil, Chungdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울특별시 강남구 청담동 선릉로190길 ) As far as I can remember, they have been using this building since the beginning of the year. I am just not sure though if it goes beyond that. Nevertheless, yeah, here's another building for SME where EXO is now commonly seen. It is quite easy to locate and definitely just a few steps away from Yeonsei Riverville .  RELATED: HOW TO BECOME AN SM TRAINEE? It's a pretty long walk but I think it's gonna be worth it if you really want to explore this part of Chungdam-dong. I mean, there are quite a number of shooting locations in the area which you may want to visit. :)
