[Roommate/룸메이트] Home of the Spiciest Jjamppong

Singil-dong Spicy Jjamppong 233-4 Dosin-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul (서울 영등포구 도신로 233-4) I think it's in Episode 8 when the Roommates decided to look for the spiciest food to feed Sora, who never sweat while eating hot dishes. They went around and Gayeon, Nana, Seho and Seojun went to this restaurant in Seoul for the famous spicy jjamppong! Like revealed in the variety show, this one was actually recognized by Star King, and other programs. I think it was rather amazing how they really have the spiciest jjamppong when I cannot even tolerate a regular one. During the filming of the show, the cook challenged the Roommates that if they can finish the large bowl fully, he will give away jjamppongs to customers on the following week. And LOL they did, and so the free jjamppongs happened. :p To see more about the restaurant, you can visit this blog . To get there, one has to take the subway to Singil Station and then go for quite a long walk to the main site. For more d...

[It's Okay That's Love/괜찮아 사랑이야] First Bonding Moment among the Housemates was Held in this Cafe, and then they Got into Trouble.

New York Sandwich 12 Wausan-ro 14-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 와우산로14길 12) This was in the earlier episodes. When Jaeyeol first moved in to the house, the four housemates eventually went out for a drink and talked about things. The venue was a cute open cafe and they were having fun actually, until Soo Kwang got into trouble in which he was aided immediately by his friends. Unfortunately though, things didn't turn out well for the group so they had to run and escape from the thugs. But in the end, it was a memorable experience especially for the two main characters. HAHA. Typical for Korean dramas, I know. So the cafe they went to is the New York Sandwich in Hongdae. There are several branches around Seoul so if you're going on a tour to Korea, you might want to grab your breakfast or lunch from their stalls? :) If you need help in finding the exact location of this branch, feel free to drop a comment. I'll gladly help you with the directions! FOLLOW ...

[It's Okay That's Love/괜찮아 사랑이야] The Beautiful Falls Where The First Big Kiss Happened

second photo from this site Bidulginang Falls 415-2 Daehwisan-ri, Yeongbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi (경기 포천시 영북면 대회산리 415-2)  Nature is the optimum reason why I am so fascinated with Gyeonggi Province. I always tell people that if you're going on a tour to Seoul, you might as well extend your stay and visit the province surrounding the city. I do it all the time virtually and I keep on falling in love with the Korean tourist attractions, and I wonder how more it will make me feel once I really set foot on the place. I've always been in love with the gardens of Gyeonggi, as well as the themed villages in it. But when I watched the It's Okay, It's Love , I realized that there is much to the province than greens alone. And one of the most beautiful proofs of this claim is the Bidulginang Falls in Pocheon-si. I have heard that it has been a filming location for several Korean dramas but I think I just didn't pay attention. Now that I did, I was stunne...

[It's Okay That's Love/괜찮아 사랑이야] The Group's Trip to Daegu to Watch a Friend's Gig

Herb Hillz 524-1 Yonggye-ri, Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun, Daegu 대구 달성군 가창면 용계리 524-1 I forgot which episode it was, but remember when they went to a gig of a friend? This is where they went and it's in Daegu. It's also where Hyesu saw Jaeyeol sleeping in a restroom. Herb Hillz is a beautiful Eco-theme park located uphill and is a really beautiful place for some family camping trip or you know, bonding sessions. It's open daily. Monday-Friday 09:30~19:00  Weekends 09:30~20:00 I think a lot of Korean dramas had filmed here but I can't tell which. I just feel like it LOL because this is really a stunning place. If you're interested, you can browse through this blog and this blog  for pictures. FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

[It's Okay, That's Love/괜찮아 사랑이야] House of Jaeyeol's Mom

담꽃 29-2 Hasin-so 2-gil, Banpo-myeon, Gongju-si, Chungnam-do (충남 공주시 반포면 하신소2길 29-2) When Hyesu changed her mind to go to a weekend holiday with Jaeyeol, the boyfriend then decided to bring her to a special place: his mom's house. His mom's house is actually 담꽃 (Dam Kkot). If we can trust my Korean language abilities, then it must be Wallflower in English. Or maybe Fence Flowers? Whichever it is, it's beautiful. It's a beautiful place which I thought was just around Gyeonggi. Never thought it would be in another province. When I saw it, I immediately felt comforted, so how much more if we pay a visit to this Korean drama filming location? It is actually a restaurant so I'm guessing it's open to public. Through the pictures in this blog , you can have a tour around the place. I don't think I can be trusted when it comes to directions to this filming site but let me see what I can do should you need my help. :) FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES!...

[It's Okay, That's Love/괜찮아 사랑이야] The Place where Jaeyeol was Stabbed with a Syringe by his Hyung

Han's Hair 547 Seoleung-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 선릉로 547) Was it Episode 7 or 8 when Jaeyeol was supposed to meet Hyesu but ended up being attacked again by his hyung, Jaebeom? The older one injected him with Amytal ( Hi Potterheads, Veritaserum could be real! ) but as it didn't work (because it was actually water), he just stabbed his younger brother with the needle repeatedly. And then, he slammed the young one's body on the glass wall of this salon. It's along the highway so it's fairly easy to locate. now I'm off to find the bus station where they were supposed to meet and the bread shop. ^__^ For directions to this place, please do feel free to drop a comment. I know it's not a nice Korean tour destination but you know, for the sake of this Korean drama, it wouldn't hurt to stop and take a picture there, right? LOL FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! [It's Okay, That's Love/괜찮아 사랑이야] THE HOUSE WHERE EVERYONE LIVES

32-13 Ave. Dosandae-ro 26-gil, Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 서울 강남구 논현동 도산대로26길 I AM SO CRYING RIGHT NOW. I WAS IN A HIATUS AND I PROMISED MYSELF THAT I WON'T STOP UNTIL I GET TO FIND THIS LOCATION. And I looked everywhere, looking around the most 'likely' neighborhood only to find out that my first instinct was right. I SHOULDN'T HAVE WASTED TIME! I actually thought it was in Sinsadong. But then it's in Nonhyeon-dong so close enough! ARGH! I was looking around Pyeongchang-dong!!!! Anyway, so here is the house where everyone lives. Right. The COFFEESMITH sign is not really there. The one they're working at is in Hongdae . As far as I know, it's actually a fashion house? Although the house might really be a house. Gosh. It's just so beautiful and easy to visit! I should have found this when my friends were still there! okay. So I'm calming down. Let's talk about the Korean drama. Apparently, it's becoming more and ...

[It's Okay, That's Love/괜찮아 사랑이야] The Park Where Kangwoo (D.O.) and Jaeyul (Insung) Met

second photo from somgmi523 @ Naver Eungbong Mountain Park 13-1 Dogseodang-ro 60-gil, Seodong-gu, Seoul 서울 성동구 독서당로60길 13-1 I love the place and it has always been my dream to post something about some random parks in Seoul in this blog, so here's a reality. This is the Eungbong Mountain Park in Seoul, a beautiful and romantic place overlooking the lovely Han River - which is exceptionally alluring at night. If you wish to see more pictures, click this link . Okay. So enough of the place. Let me please, please, please talk about Do Kyungsoo's acting. I don't know what I should say to convince you guys that my words will not be biased and I will base it on what I know as a person who has background in dramas and films like this; so I just won't tell you to believe me. I just want you guys to think about what I'm going to say. Do Kyungsoo is something when it comes to acting. At first, you won't be convinced, thinking that he's just a noob, a t...

[Roommate/룸메이트] Because For Kangjun and Minwoo, What Dongwook Hyung Wants, Dongwook Hyung Gets.

병천황토방순대 10 Nonhyeon-ro 131-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 논현로131길 10) Before going to their hyung's photoshoot and after their makeover at the salon, Kangjun and Minwoo called their Dongwook hyung to ask what he wants. Jokingly, the older guy answered he want soju and sundae soup. Because what Dongwook wants, he gets, Kangjun insisted that they really buy it in case their hyung really wants to eat it at the set. So they did. And they stopped at this small sundae shop in Nonhyeon-ro. For directions, please do drop a comment. Thank you! FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! [Roommate/룸메이트] The Spicy Curry House

Curry House Myeongryun 2-ga, Jongno-gu, Seoul (서울 종로구 명륜2가) This is the curry house where Seho, Kangjun, Gayeon and Nana went to to find the spiciest curry they could ever get for Sora. It was a mission, I think; and true to Seho's words, the curry house was really in front of the main gate of Sungkyunkwan University so was fairly easy to locate. I'm not really for curries and very spicy food but seeing them eat it, I really want to try. LOL It's easy to find the restaurant, albeit its narrow and unattractive entrance. For directions, please do drop me a comment. FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

[On Style] Jessica's Favorite Boutique

KOON 39 Seolleung-ro 146-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 선릉로146길 39) Bored at home because Soojung was on work, Sooyeon decided to call her stylist unnie and together, they went shopping in Gangnam-gu. And their destination? KOON. According to On Style 's narrator, this is Jessica's favorite boutique. Cool, right? It amazed me how they knew about this. But then celebrities will always know where the top places are, after all. They need to be on top of their games anyway so they need the best fashion items. Apparently, this shop has everything Jessica likes. If you want to shop here too but don't know how to get there, drop me a comment. I might be able to help. :) FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! [Let's Eat] Shabu Shabu Party at Hometown Kitchen

second photo from here Hometown Kitchen 297 Tanhyun-dong, Ilsan-seogu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do (경기 고양시 일산서구 탄현동 297) On the third episode of Let's Eat , Daeyoung took everyone out for a shabu-shabu treat and taught them how to properly eat the dish. LOL I was drooling the whole time because I really miss eating shabu-shabu and I guess the next time I do, I'm gonna apply the rule: MEAT - VEGETABLES - MEAT LOL Anyway, they went to Hometown Kitchen in Ilsan for their feast. Looks familiar? Sounds familiar? You must have watched The Heirs then. Hometown Kitchen served as the cafeteria of Jeguk High School (The Heirs school) and was pretty much a vital filming site for the Korean drama. It's very easy to locate so if you need help, feel free to drop me a comment. For pictures though, you can visit this and this . FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! [It's Okay, That's Love] Coffeesmith Coffee Shop

Coffeesmith Hongdae 82 Wausan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 와우산로 82) Okay, so here's a cute misleading. HAHA If I understood the plot correctly, the production's trying to convince us viewers that the cafe where Kwangsoo works is at the same building as the balcony house the lead characters are living in. However, it's not. I'm yet to find the house and I'm just so lucky that I found this coffee shop! It's Coffeesmith in Hongdae. Please don't be confused though. There are two entrances to the cafe. One is along the main highway and one is at the back (Wausan-ro 18-gil). The Korean drama used the back entrance during the three episodes. Let's see if they're gonna use the other one. :p How to get there? Drop me a comment and I'll see what I can do! :) FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.
