Balt House Pyeongchang-ri, Yangji-myeon, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do (경기 용인시 처인구 양지면 평창리) On the first episode of Mr. Back , old Chairman Choi Go Bong (Shin Hakyun) went to Silver Town as part of his 'charity' work. The visit didn't turn out as planned as he met some unfortunate incidents. However, it became a turning point in his life when he met Eun Hasoo (Jang Nara). Anyway, the Balt House in Yongin is a luxurious village as I may call it. The houses are definitely beautiful, reminiscent of those in Korean dramas. Rich families must be living here, right? For a moment, I have this crazy instinct that probably, this is where Teuk and Sistar lived with Kyumin for Hello Baby . ♥ Balt House features a variety of architectural styles, and I think it's not a surprise considering that it's in Gyeonggi . Hill House San 11-2 Jeonsu-ri, Ganhamyeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi (경기 양평군 강하면 전수리 산11-2) When I first saw the scene, I immediately knew it! The Hill House in Gyeonggi, the very same house used in The Heirs . It is a beautiful tourist spot which features cafes and scenic areas for your photography and romantic ideas. :p Anyway, the Hill House is where Cha Yoojin ( Joo Won ) grew up. It was described as the place he's most comfortable in, and it says a lot coming from a character who is supposed to have phobias on planes and seas. Cool, right? For more pictures, visit this blog . Canal Walk Art Center-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon (인천 연수구 아트센터대로) When Choi Go Bong realized that he had transformed into his young self, he escaped his house just as the police arrived and headed for a walk. The location is the Canal Walk in Incheon. It's located in Art Center Street, which you must be familiar with if you watched the first meeting of Key and Arisa in Global WGM . Well, the meeting's not exactly in the area above but it's close. :) I'm really having a nice time catching up with my Korean dramas online. Castle Assisi 319 Gangnam-ro, Gangha-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do (경기 양평군 강하면 강남로 319) Personally, I think Birth of a Beauty featuring Han Yeseul and Joo Sangwook is one of the best Korean dramas in 2014. The exciting treatment of the plot and the bold move to touch one of the most sensitive issues among the society today are probably what hooked me to this story. At some points though, it may be quite ridiculous to a few people considering that this Korean drama is like insinuating that being fat is ugly. But I don't think this should garner controversies because at the end of each day, that thought - no matter how stupid and childish it is - is the truth which everyone lives with. Maiim Vision Village 443 Yongeun-ri, Neungso-myeon, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do (경기 여주시 능서면 용은리 443) When I first watched Cantabile Tomorrow (내일 칸타빌레) , I really just couldn't help but get curious as to where it was filmed. The location was indeed appealing to me, especially with all the trees and all. I personally think it was conducive to learning music because of its naturally calm and quiet surrounding. I did researches and found out that it's actually the MAIIM VISION VILLAGE . As expected, it is in the province of Gyeonggi and is quite a famous Korean tourist spot. It's like a huge park where people go for family or couple dates. As the name suggests, it is a village where you can see several beautiful structures. Hana Academy Seoul 129 Jingwan-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (서울 은평구 진관동 129) It's 2AM when I found this and I'm just so happy in all levels because normally, schools are the most difficult to find among Korean drama filming sites, and yet, here goes the one for High School Love On . :) So this is where Woohyun transferred to. This is where Sungyeol originally studies. And this is where Seulbi enrolled. This is basically where the lives of the three students were intertwined and where the connection was revealed. Subjectively, I cannot believe that this is just a high school in Seoul. I should have known, considering their educational standard, but this looks more like a mall to me than a school. Anyhow, I'm just so fascinated because obviously, the structure's totally amazing. I honestly think that the school's too familiar. Mugunghwa-ro, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do (경기 고양시 일산동구 무궁화로) In the end, there is still Gyeonggi. Haha. :) Anyway, this is where Sungyeol and Seulbi parted ways after a sudden 'date', if you may call it. I could have paid no attention to this location if it wasn't for the scene that happened here. Sun Cheon Hyang University Library 22 Suncheonhyang-ro, Sinchang-myeon, Asan-si, Chungnam-do (충남 아산시 신창면 순천향로 22) What I thought was another library in Gyeonggi turned out to be in Chungnam. Okay, I'm not gonna pretend that I'm familiar with the province, but I am sure enthralled by this library. So yeah, the Korean drama High School Love On began with a flash forward scene (Spring 2016) with Woohyun running and bumping into a girl whose necklace pendant matches with his. Okay. So yeah, there goes the story. haha. Anyway, the scene was shot at the library of the Sun Cheon Hyang University. Ms. Gong Ddeokbokki 13 Nonhyeon-ro 150-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 논현로150길 13) I TOLD YOU GUYS I'M GOING TO START ON HIGH SCHOOL LOVE ON! I honestly never thought I'll end up doing this Korean drama but when I saw a clip on Youtube, I just realized that two of my biases in Infinite are here and it could be a crime to my hidden addiction on Yeol and Namstar if I wouldn't this one, right? So to begin the adventure, I got the ddeokbokki place owned by Woohyun's grandmother. The nice thing was it kept its original name, so there really is a Ms. Gong Ddeokbokki (미스공 떡볶이) in Nonhyeon-dong and it is a few blocks away from the Sinsa Station .
