This is Yongma Land, an abandoned amusement park in Seoul which has been a favorite location for photoshoots and romantic dates. I don't understand how couples won't find it creepy because everything seems so eerie to me; but when I saw the pictures, it was actually beautiful. :) Yongma Land is a favorite filming site of many Korean dramas, particularly the broken carousel. Shinsegae Department Store 63 Sogong-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul (서울 중구 소공로 63) I SWEAR THE JONGSUK/SHINHYE TANDEM IS NO JOKE After eating udon, Choi Dalpo ( Lee Jongsuk ) and Choi Inha ( Park Shinhye ) were walking along this particular street, talking about their feelings. But you know what made this place more special? It is where the two main characters had their first kiss! This is in Shinsegae Department Store in Chungmu-ro. The mall is basically one of the biggest malls in Korea and has been a favorite shopping place of many Korean artists. It features a lot of designer brands including Louis Vuitton, which is basically how I knew about the location. HAHAHA Here's how it looks like from the main road: Anyway, forget the location. Namsan Tower's Roof Terrace 105 Namsan Park-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (서울 용산구 남산공원길 105) No, I just can't not post this here. Jung Joonyoung with Cha Taehyun, singing a song at the Roof Terrace of Namsan Tower to get money for a mission they have to complete for Korean variety show 1N2D. This happened a long time ago. YTN Building 76 Sangamsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 상암산로 76) Yes, the famous YGN News Company where Choi Dal Po ( Lee Jongsuk ) works as a reporter is actually YTN Building in Sangam-dong. It's a relatively new company, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think fans of Pinocchio can freely enter the building. Maybe, a picture from the outside will suffice if you really want to visit the filming locations of this Korean drama? Or maybe you can just look at the pictures at this blog ? Cafe DROPTOP 45-1 Eoulmadang-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 어울마당로 45-1) So what I thought was located in Gyeonggi is actually in Hongdae in Seoul. This is Cafe DROPTOP, the cafe/restaurant owned by Cha Yoojin's mom and where Mini Minhee and Seol Naeil worked as part timers. A lot of scenes for Cantabile Tomorrow was filmed here. The Korean drama had just finished. I'm seriously going to miss Joo Won and Park Bogeum. 56-56 Jeunggaro2-gil, Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul So this is where Ki Jaemyung ( Yoon Kyunsang ) lives. This is the area where Choi Dalpo ( Lee Jongsuk ) went around to find news about snow-related accidents. And this... this is the house of Victoria and Nichkhun when they were filming WGM . I wouldn't have noticed that it's the actual place if there wasn't an establishing shot. The places where Dal Po was seen running are just around the area. One Mount Juyeop-2dong, Ilsan-seogu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi (경기 고양시 일산서구 주엽2동) On Episodes 7 & 8 of Pinocchio , the brothers have finally met after more than a decade of separation. Probably because Ki Jaemyung (Yoon Kyunsang) had long believed that Jaemyung is dead, only Dalpo ( Lee Jongsuk ) recognized his brother. To me, the scene was emotional enough, thanks to Jongsuk's acting skills. So the meeting place was actually One Mount in Gyeonggi Province. It is a mall, amusement park, and entertainment center rolled into one. The fashion stores and dining establishments are given, but there are other main attractions here! One Mount has a snow park, which is perfect during the winter season. It even has a spot where people can ride sleds and enjoy. Kids will surely love it here!
