EXO Love Me Right Jacket Photoshoot Location

As EXO has finally come back (albeit 9 members), slaying all others with its title track, Love Me Right, I couldn't help but feel extremely elated. They're up to some of the biggest names in the KPOP history but I think they're gonna make it. Love Me Right has this intriguing, addicting and impressive appeal that draws listeners to it. So I'm betting that it's really gonna be at par with all else in the music scene today. Now, as the album came out, photos naturally were scanned and uploaded on the internet. I have found some from FY-EXO . Some of the scans are from BabyLove   and OLIV . And while I'm very much in love with the quality of the shoot, I think I was more interested on the fact that it was shot in Yongma Land . YONGMA LAND 118 Mangu-ro 70-gil, Jungrang-gu, Seoul  (서울 중랑구 망우로70길 118) To those who don't know, Yongma Land is actually an abandoned amusement park in Seoul. 'Abandoned' may sound like a little creepy but altho...

Oh Sehun at Yeongnamnu Pavilion

Yeongnamnu Pavillion 324 Jungang-ro, Miryang-si, Gyeongnam-do 경남 밀양시 중앙로 324 Sehun must have been really stressed these days that he really decided to go around places to relax. Or he might have gone there for work? Or these pictures on his Instagram were taken way way back? I don't know. I don't care. What matters is that he chose to post it all and I'm glad because I think I found another place to visit when I finally travel to Seoul . Prior to his post about Kim Gwangseok Street, he uploaded this photo with a caption #영남루. Yeongnamru Pavilion is the place. According to history, the pavilion was built during the Goryeo Dynasty (14th century). The piece had burned twice but was reconstructed to its legitimate glory. The Yeongnamru Pavilion is actually a perfect example of the beautiful Korean architecture. It is surrounded by a lake (or river?) which is crossed by a charming bridge that is seen in the background of Sehun's photo. For more pictures, y...

Oh Sehun at Kim Gwangseok Street

Kim Gwangseok Street Daebong-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu 대구 중구 대봉동 Three days ago, we were spammed by EXO's Oh Sehun with several pictures on his official Instagram account.   Since I was very busy with work and other church stuff, it's only now that I got to ponder on where he was. And when I saw this picture, I instantly asked myself: WHAT WAS HE DOING IN DAEGU? If you have watched Hyde, Jekyll & I , you would notice that this is where this was its Korean drama filming location.  It is called the Kim Gwangseok Street.  It was a narrow street in the province which is dedicated to the late singer, Kim Gwangseok. On the walls are different murals, installations and posters that features the life and accomplishment of the music icon. When I saw this picture, the thought really excited me. Because if you noticed on this previous post , I said there that I want to do something like this for SJ and EXO . And then all of a sudden, Sehun's here. If that's...

[EXO NEXT DOOR] EXO'S HOUSE

LAMBORGHINI PENSION HOUSE Daebudo Pension Town 4 Chamsaribeonyeong-gil, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi (경기 안산시 단원구 참살이번영길 4) www.ddtown.co.kr It will be very irresponsible of me if I won't justify my long absence. Aside from being so busy with my new work (FINALLY!), I couldn't work on anything without actually finding first this location for EXO 's new web drama EXO NEXT DOOR.  After weeks of rigorous searching, I found out that the beautiful house in which Chanyeol, D.O., Sehun and Baekhyun are living at is actually called the LAMBORGHINI Pension House. It is located in Daebudo Pension Town , a village that features breathtaking houses that people can rent for vacations and as Korean drama filming locations. Now, please bear in mind that the interior shots were actually taken in SMTOWN Studio , the same studio where CALL ME BABY MV was filmed. Only the necessary establishing and exterior scenes were filmed in Ansan. To see how the Lamborghini P...

Top Hanok Guesthouses in Seoul

Being a highly modernized city, there is an abundance of hotel chains around Seoul in South Korea. Especially nowadays, the tourism industry is rapidly progressing; and so the need for possible accommodations is dire.  While it is nothing but pleasant to stay in Seoul hotels , people who wish to deviate from the usual and get intimate with the Korean culture are invited to stay in hanok guesthouses. Hanok is the term used to refer to traditional Korean houses which we usually see in Korean dramas; and there are so many around the capital city, particularly in the Jongno District. Among the top choices are as follows: Seoul Guesthouse. Considered as the largest and oldest hanok in the famed Bukchon Hanok Village, the Seoul Guesthouse is a primary option for many people who wish not to stay away from the Gwanghwamun Area. Room rates begin at 40,000WON. Facilities like phone, refrigerator, WI-FI internet, cable TV, bathroom and kitchen are for common use, enco...

[EXO Showtime] EXO Sehun and Kai at Moon Guesthouse

2nd photo from TripAdvisor Moon Guesthouse 87-1 Unni-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul (서울 종로구 운니동 87-1) Aside from going to Seoul, one of my ultimate dreams in life is to stay in a hanok, a traditional Korean house. Since April Kisses days (I was in high school back then!), I have really loved its structure and I even dreamed of living in one. Hehe. Anyway, this is where Sehun and Kai went to for their funny clip in EXO Showtime Episode 8. FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

[EXO Showtime] EXO at Chinatown Incheon

Chinatown Incheon Bukseong-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon 인천 중구 북성동   For EXO Showtime Episode 7, the boys went to Chinatown Incheon. Here are the places they went to: This is where they bought the dolls. This store is located quite far from the main entrance but it is easy to find because you just have to walk straight from the arc and you'll find this one.  The shabu shabu restaurant where they ate hotpot is just in front of the LG U Square store you can see in the first picture. EXO at Le Boutique Bleue

Le Boutique Bleue 743-24 Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (서울시 용산구 한남동 743-24) I loved the building! I love the design! But most of all, I LOVE THE SKT AD WITH EXO!!!! The building's a beauty gallery. It's like a shop for Swiss Perfection products which are displayed as if the building's a museum. There are spas there, I think. See more pictures in this blog ! When you're in Seoul , make sure to visit the place okay? FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.
