[SJ Returns 3] Super Junior at Samdayeon Restaurant

When this Korean filming locations blog began in 2011, Super Junior was the primary reason. As time went by, my interests evolved and it eventually became a larger map for bigger travel plans which I ought to take when I finally visit South Korea.  Eight years after, Super Junior has returned for their 9th album and there's no other way for Manager Hyung to celebrate it but to return as well.  EPISODE 1 1. SAMDAYEON (삼다연 ) 7-20 Nonhyeondong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 논현동 7-20) As usual for the members of Super Junior, they went to one of Heechul's favorite places in Gangnam, Samdayeon . This Super Junior Returns 3 filming location is a barbecue place which sells pork from Jeju Island and is quite a famous chain in the city. Heechul mentioned in the first episode that whenever he comes to this place, he always go home drunk. Apparently, the restaurant has an exclusive area, probably for artists. That's where SJ members ate their samgyupsal. :) T...

Super Junior in Running Man at the Jincheon National Training Center

Jincheon National Training Center 충청북도 진천군 광혜원면 회죽리 (Hoejuk-ri, Gwanghyewon-myeon, Jincheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do) For a long-time fan like myself, every KPOP idol comeback mandates guesting on Korean variety shows; and one of the only few shows to really guarantee viewership is Running Man. Although it is quite impossible for any KPOP fan to not know what it is, let me still explain that it is a long-standing program of SBS currently featuring Yoo Jaesuk, Ji Sukjin, Song Jihyo, Kim Jongkook, and rapper Haha. With its reputation, it is of no wonder why Super Junior chose to guest on this program. The current show's members are actually close with SJ members so everyone should anticipate. Not to mention that the girls of Red Velvet (I love Irene! hihi) guested alongside the boys. To celebrate the group's guesting, I located their filming location, the Jincheon National Training Center in North Chungcheong Province. And believe me, nothing seems better than this p...

[MV: One More Chance] Super Junior Yesung at Banpo Bridge

A brand new  Super Junior music video  had just been released and it's making everyone feel so emotional right now.  One More Chance  is seriously one nostalgic song about a guy who wishes to get back with his loved one. While it does sound romantic, it appeals to me like a song of plea to their fans to take them back. WE'RE MORE THAN WILLING, GUYS. We've waited long enough. So to celebrate this  Super Junior comeback , I dedicate the first post on Manager Hyung (after a terribly long hiatus) to them! Majority of  One More Chance MV shooting locations  were indoors. Only Yesung and Hae went out. Yesung was seen running along the ever famous  Banpo Bridge  in Seoul. It is exciting to note that this was also where they filmed S.E.O.U.L MV. One of the many South Korea tourist spots, this magnificent structure is the double-deck bridge connecting Yongsan and Seocho Districts. It is famous for its magnificent rainbow fountain display...

The No Stress Cafe from Yesung's Instagram

Fifty 32 Eonju-ro 168-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 서울 강남구 언주로168길 32 When I saw this update from Yesung's Instagram, I realized that perhaps, this cafe is really a personal favorite of the members. It is located in Sinsadong area, along with some of the most interesting cafes where KPOP stars are usually seen filming their shows or just lazing around. For those who don't know, FIFTY is actually that cafe where the original Super Junior M had their photoshoot for their first mini-album . It is also the main reason why Manager Hyung came up to be. I have personally wanted to find that place because there is no way I'm not going there once I finally get to travel to Korea . If you've watched Jessica & Krystal's On Style episodes, you would also have noticed that their house was near this cafe. When they were walking in the area, they met Shindong who actually came from Fif ty then. HOW TO GET THERE: 1. To get there, all you have to do is...

[Super Junior Guesthouse] Super Junior M Watching the Sunset from the Naksan Temple

second photo from here Naksan Temple Kanghyeon-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do (강원 양양군 강현면) It's not the first time I've heard about the Naksan Temple but it's the first time I paid attention to how it actually looks like; and it's gorgeous! I fell in love with it the first time! The beauty of the mountains collaborating with the vast ocean to create a splendid scenery that projects the immaculate beauty of the Korean culture is just too wonderful to not notice. The Naksan Temple perched on a peak is like a serene escape, a sanctuary to many. It's not gonna be easy to get here especially if I don't have a car but hopefully, one day, I'll be able to visit this wonderful place. I hope this is a typical Korean drama filming location . It's just so romantic! FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

[Super Junior Guesthouse] Zhoumi, Sungmin and Ryeowook at Delpino Resort

Delpino Resort 1153 Misiryeongyet-gil, Toseong-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do (강원 고성군 토성면 미시령옛길 1153) When Super Junior M went to Gangwon-do, this is the resort they stayed at. It's awesome, definitely sophisticated and plush. I'm guessing a lot of Korean dramas and variety shows had been filmed here in the past, and as much as I want to go here, I don't think I can't. LOL But I'll be happy to admire it from afar. FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

[Super Junior Guesthouse] Deungmyeong Beach

Deungmyeong Beach Aninjin-ri, Gangdeungmyeon, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do (강원 강릉시 강동면 안인진리 ) The boys went to Gangwon Province and had their meal by the beach. However, the attraction there is when the train passes by as beside the benches is a rail track. Cute? :) Now, how did I get to identify this easily? Because it was the same place where Kill Me Heal Me filmed that break-up scene . FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

[Super Junior Guesthouse] Kyuhyun and Zhoumi at 소년상회

first photo from here 소년상회 25 Wausanro-13gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울 마포구 와우산로15길 25) So this got my interest. The cafe where Kyuhyun and Zhoumi went for an episode of Super Junior Guesthouse is actually a boy-themed cafe. It's quite small but the interesting part is that it caters the interests of a typical boy. Lots of animated characters' figurines are placed on the tables and cartoon characters are drawn on walls. Very simple. Very cute. Very manly. :) FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

[Super Junior Guesthouse] Super Junior M with Heo Gyeonghwan at Cafe Footloose

First photo by Won Jongho Cafe Footloose 805 Seolleung-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (서울 강남구 선릉로 805) I'm on a roll. Hahaha. Okay, I must admit it now. I can't watch the whole show. I can't even finish an episode so to compensate, I'll be depending on the still shots provided by the program's official site. So Cafe Footloose is where Super Junior M filmed with Heo Gyeonghwan. Yes to my favorites! :) And the cafe is actually located near Apgujeong Rodeo Station. To get there, you can get off the said station using Exit 5 and then head straight towards the direction you're facing (SOUTH) until you reach the cafe. You'll know you're near when you pass by the bus station. FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 100% accurate.

[Super Junior Guesthouse] SJM at Namsan Tower

Namsan Tower 105 Namsan Park-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (서울 용산구 남산공원길 105) I'm not following Super Junior Guesthouse that much due to my busy schedule but from time to time, I'll be posting a location. Please forgive me if it's not going to be in chronological order. What matters is that it's here, right? :) So the first post for SJ Guesthouse is from Episode 10. The boys had to go to Namsan Tower one night to find something to complete a mission, perhaps. They even went to the roof terrace where the love locks are. To those who don't know, the Namsan Tower is probably the most popular among the icons of Seoul. It is situated in the highest peak of the city and is a common filming location for many Korean dramas and variety shows. To get there, you can either ride the bus or ride the cable car. For directions, you can send me a message or drop me a comment. :) FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATES! IMPORTANT NOTE: This post may not be 1...

[One Fine Day] EunHae at Incheon Airport to Switzerland

Incheon International Airport 272 Gonghang-ro, Jung-gu, Incheon (인천 중구 공항로 272) Seriously though, who doesn't know about the Incheon Airport? It is consistently one of the best airports in the world, receiving millions of arriving and transiting passengers each year. It features top-grade facilities for the comfort and convenience of its customers, each acclaimed for its sophistication and high-end class. Incheon International Airport is the gateway between South Korea and the rest of the world. It services international flights like the Busan International Airport. If you are wishing to see your favorite KPOP idols, this is the first place to be. Because of the global popularity of the Hallyu Wave, idols tend to travel to different countries as if they're just traveling to a different town. So yeah, this is where you can usually spot them. ^^ And true enough, there's Hyukjae and Donghae on their way to Switzerland. ^^ FOLLOW US FOR MORE UPDATE...

Choi Siwon Biking at Namsan Park

C&U Convenience Store (Namsan Park) 105 Namsan Gongwon-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (서울 용산구 남산공원길 105) Looking through my old posts, it's so disappointing and frustrating that I don't have enough Super Junior post in this blog. I've been calling myself an ELF (YES, I'M AN ELF!) for almost eight years now yet I don't follow their schedules that much. Hehe. Or maybe, theirs is just too difficult to track? So let me make it up to myself and have the SJ-dedicated posts begin with this one. Choi Siwon posted on Instagram yesterday the picture above and thanks to the Seoul Tower in the background, it was fairly easy to distinguish the location. Apparently, he rode the bike up to this place so hello Captain Athlete! Congratulations! Anyway, the convenience store is located in the park where buses and land vehicles park. If you're going to Seoul Tower via cable car, I don't think you'll be able to see this place unless you get out of the tower....
