This is actually a very, and I mean very , avantgarde style of architecture which has been one of the biggest attractions in Dongdaemun. It's the Dongdaemun Design Plaza and it houses design exhibits and collections. The Dongdaemun Design Plaza is one of the most beautiful architectural pieces in modern Seoul if you ask me. I just couldn't find that blog but it showed pictures of its interior, and boy was I blown away by its beauty! I have always been a fan of zen styles and minimalist approaches so this building kinda serves as heaven to me. Many Korean dramas had filmed their scenes there with well, Man from the Star being the most recent (I suppose!) STEP 1 Find your way to the Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (동대문역사문화공원역). It's part of the GREEN Line #2. STEP 2 Exit the station via EXIT 11 or EXIT 12.
